Shipping Policy
Last Updated: February 14, 2026
This policy explains how ChicDevice packs, dispatches, and delivers wholesale orders, and how shipping risks and costs are allocated between our company and wholesale buyers.
1. Processing Time
- In-stock wholesale items: packed and handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation;
- Bulk replenishment orders: typically 5–15 business days, quoted per order size;
- Customized / OEM orders: lead time begins after both payment clearance and artwork approval, typically 12–25 business days depending on complexity;
- Chinese public holidays and Chinese New Year may extend processing; affected orders receive advance notice.
"Business days" exclude weekends and Chinese public holidays.
2. Carriers and Delivery Methods
- International express (samples & small wholesale lots): DHL, FedEx, UPS — door-to-door, 3–8 business days typical transit;
- Air freight: cost-effective consolidation for medium volume, airport-to-airport plus customs clearance;
- Sea freight (FCL/LCL): for full-container or consolidated bulk programs, scheduled weekly;
- Rail freight (Eurasia): optional lane for European destinations balancing speed and cost;
- Final carrier choice respects your instruction on the proforma invoice; if unspecified, we select the best-value option for the order profile and confirm before dispatch.
3. Destination Coverage
We ship worldwide from our China fulfillment hubs except to destinations restricted by trade-control rules or carrier embargoes. Some remote areas served by express carriers may incur a remote-area surcharge, quoted before dispatch.
4. Duties, Taxes and Incoterms
- Standard offers ship DAP (Delivered At Place): import duties, GST/VAT, and customs brokerage at destination are the buyer's responsibility;
- DDP shipping can be arranged into many countries — duties and taxes included in quoted freight — when requested before order confirmation;
- EXW / FOB collection programs let your forwarder control international leg and import formalities;
- Buyers are responsible for providing correct importer records (IOR/EORI numbers etc.) where required for customs clearance.
5. Charges and Tracking
Freight is calculated on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, per carrier rules. A tracking/airway-bill number is emailed (and visible in your account order page) within 24 hours of dispatch. Multiple-carton shipments may show separate tracking numbers per carton.
6. Delivery Risk and Responsibility
- Risk transfers per the Incoterm on your invoice (e.g., on handover to carrier for FOB/DAP consignments);
- Carriers control transit times; estimates exclude customs inspection delays and force-majeure events;
- If tracking shows no movement for 7+ consecutive days, contact us — we initiate carrier investigations immediately and keep you updated;
- Address changes after dispatch may incur carrier redirection fees borne by the requester.
7. Lost, Damaged or Short Shipments
Report problems within 14 days of the carrier's delivery record:
- Visible damage: note it on the POD (proof of delivery), photograph cartons, labels and contents, and email evidence promptly — needed for carrier claims;
- Concealed damage or missing pieces: retain all packaging for inspection and notify us with photos/video and weight of the received parcel;
- Approved claims are remedied by reshipment, spare-parts pack, refund, or store credit per our Refund & Return Policy.
Claims outside the window may lose carrier liability coverage; please inspect promptly upon arrival.
8. Packaging Standards
Standard export-grade packaging: individual retail boxes inside double-wall master cartons (typical ≤ 15 kg gross per carton), palletization and strapping available for bulk sea/rail moves. Special packing requirements (barcode labels, FNSKU, shelf-ready trays) should be specified at order placement; labeling services may carry a small per-unit fee.
9. Split Shipments
When part of your order is ready early, you may opt for split shipment (extra freight charged for the second wave) or wait for complete dispatch. Unpaid-balance orders default to single dispatch after full payment.
10. Contact Us
Shipping questions: [email protected] — include your order number and, for in-transit issues, attach the carrier tracking number to speed up the response.
